Simple Breakfast & Simple Home Cooked Dinner

The day started with a beautiful sunrise. This was before the haze came upon us.
 Morning sky at 7:07 am
We didn't go for our early morning walk so we went out for breakfast at our regular coffee shop.
I ordered a herbal egg tea.
Hubby's black coffee and my herbal egg tea.
 Breakfast treat from a friend.
2 other friends joined us for breakfast that morning.
A friend shared their mooncakes with us.

That evening we had a simple home cooked dinner at home with the following dishes.
Steamed white eggplants drizzled with garlic oil, oyster sauce & soy sauce.
Spicy sambal belacan stinky beans and stubby okras.
Multi-layer petals yellow hibicus from my garden.

But the godly shall flourish like palm trees and
grow tall as the cedars of Lebanon.
For they are transplanted into the Lord's own garden
and are under his personal care.

  5. Herbal egged tea!! Wow, amazing. Great sky. My father was a Forest Ranger and would give talks to schools, summer camps, and boy scout groups. He loved to talk about the Cedars of Lebanon in the Bible.

  9. Your hibiscus is gorgeous! And so is your first sky picture. I have never heard of herbal egg tea; we do not have it here. So it is herbal tea...and how is the egg prepared? I want to make it, you must tell me!
