Turmeric Rice With Curry Chicken, Loh + Prawn Noodle & Murals

This was on the first day of August.

Morning sky at about 7am.
After our morning walk, we drove to Restoran Meng Meng Kee, Menglembu new township for breakfast.
Hubby ordered turmeric rice with chicken curry.
I ordered loh mee but requested for a mix of prawn noodle broth and loh mee broth so that the broth will not be too thick.
After adding black vinegar, it tasted great.
Instead of meat slices, they give minced meat, prawns and half hard boiled egg.
My Bauhinia Kockiana before we put up the new trellis. The plant helped to shield our living room from the outside.
Now with the new trellis supporting the Bauhinia Kockiana.

The following photos were taken at the back lane behind the Old Town White Coffee facing the Ipoh Padang, Ipoh old town.
Tin mining activities.
Same as above.
Dulang washers.
A sculpture.
I didn't see any description or I may have missed it.
Painted on the tarmac of the back lane.
Hubby was waiting for me in the car so I didn't follow this painted crooked path.

Linking to Monday Mural.

He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out from the bog and the mire,
and set my feet on a hard, firm path, and steadied me as I walked along.
(Psalm 40:2, The Living Bible-TLB)

  12. Thank you Nancy for the lovely morning sky photo. Both Turmeric Rice With Curry Chicken, Loh + Prawn Noodle sound tasty. The Murals really do brighten up the environment. Your orange flower looks so pretty decorating your house. Are the orange flowers seasonal or all year round?
