It looks like the rainy season is back. Last 2 nights were cool enough to sleep without using the air con.
This was last Saturday morning at about 7:40am.
At about 12:30, we went to pick up our friends for lunch. Just as we out out of our car in front of XiWei 1898, Mdan Ipoh Bestari, Ipoh, it started to rain.
Hot pandan lemon drink (refillable) included with all main sets (for dine-in only). Love this fragrant drink.
Hubby - Sambal Petai Nasi Lemak @ RM14.50
Friend A - Sambal Chili Fish Nasi Lemak @ RM16.50
This is their weekend special.
Friend B - Fish Balls Soup Ramen @ RM14.90
Minced meat dry ramen @ RM14.90 for me.
My dry ramen came with 2 fish balls in clear soup.
By the time we have finished our lunch, the rain has stopped.
Happy are those who are strong in the Lord,
who want above all else to follow your steps.
When they walk through the Valley of Weeping,
it will become a place of springs where pools of blessing
and refreshment collect after rains!
They will grow constantly in strength,
and each of them is invited to meet with the Lord in Zion.
(Psalm 84:5-7, The Living Bible-TLB)

ReplyDeleteOh. My Mum made the best fish-burgers but never gave me a recipe as I couldn´t cook back then (and fish is like really difficult).
Thank you, Iris. There are many recipes which I regretted not learning from my mom.
