My sons informed me that they decided not to come back for Christmas because they were too late in booking their train tickets. And its no fun joining in the terrible traffic jam driving home and back to the city again. Anyway, they will be back for the coming Chinese New Year in a few weeks time.
Since it is only hubby and I, we decided not to cook. Initially, we thought of buffet dinner but couldn't decided on the place. Finally, we ended up at Secret Recipe Cakes & Cafe S/B at Aeon Ipoh Station 18 for a more quiet place where we can take our time to enjoy our food.
We were not in a hurry for dinner so we did some window shopping. After looking around, hubby ended up buying a much needed sweater.

We wanted to order the Lamb Shank but it was not available. So we decided on the Australian Beef Steak and the Chicken Parmigiana. Hubby ended up finishing the beef because he doesn't like the cheese on the chicken. I like the cheese so I happily enjoyed the cheesy chicken!
Australian Beef Steak with black pepper sauce.
Chicken Parmigiana with lots of cheese.
Since both the beef and chicken portions were big, we couldn't take in any dessert. We will have to come again to enjoy their cakes. After dinner we continue with our window shopping.
I ended up taking these "fairyland" snapshots.
For we have not been telling you fairy tales when we explained to you
the power of our Lord Jesus Christ and his coming again.
My own eyes have seen his splendor and his glory: ....
