Pink Anthurium In My Garden

I like Anthurium flowers and the flowers are commonly used for flower arrangements. I got this pink Anthurium baby from a church member many years ago. She had passed on a few years ago but whenever I see the flowers I remember her.
It took many years before the first bloom appeared when under my care.
Finally, it decided it is time to bloom.
The flower is not big, it is smaller than my palm.
I have shifted the plant around and it is now under semi shade.
I like Anthurium because it can last a long time.
Another flower appeared when I least expected it. It was a lovely surprise.
It took a long time for the first flower to slowly fade.
I still get to enjoy the flowers even though the colour is lighter now.
Other names are Laceleaf, Tailflower, Flamingo flower and Boy Flower.
I remember hearing someone calling it Naughty Boy Flower!
Currently, I am waiting for the next flower to appear.

Now as for you, dear brothers who are waiting for the Lord's return,
be patient, like a farmer who waits until the autumn
for his precious harvest to ripen.

  3. These are so beautiful. I saw many of them growing in Singapore when we visited, and they often used here in Australia for artistic floral arrangements. Have a lovely week. I am joining you at Wednesday Around the World
