Vegetarian Lunch At Vegan Life, Ipoh.

One of my friends will be shifting to the capital city to stay with her daughter to help babysit her grand daughter. So before she left we made a lunch appointment with her. There were 3 of us and we were at one time housemates when we first started work. These days, communicating with one another is easy with the Whatsapp using our smartphones.

Someone suggested going for vegetarian food and we all agreed. She took us to this place called Vegan Life in Bandar Baru Medan, somewhere near Ipoh Garden. We were one of the early customers. By the time our food was served, the whole place was filled with office workers coming for their lunch. The following were our orders for lunch to be shared by 3 people.
Vegetarian porridge.
Tofu with pumpkin sauce.
Tom yam noodle.
Hot lemon honey drink for me.
Pretty lanterns

After lunch, we adjorned to the nearby shopping mall for dessert and window shopping.
We ordered fruit salad (rojak) and this mango ice.
The rojak was disappointing but the mango ice was good.

My work was to plant the seed in your hearts,
and Apollos' work was to water it, but it was God, not we,
who made the garden grow in your hearts.

  1. It all looks really yummy! It is so important to keep in touch with friends from long ago. But with time and moving around, it can be difficult.

    1. Thank you, Ginny! Not easy when friends move far away but thanks to the internet and smartphones, we still can keep in contact even though we don't get to meet up as often.
