Dinner At Restoran Yan Ming, Taman Pertama, Ipoh.

The cook in the house was feeling very lazy so there was no home cooked dinner for this particular evening. On our way out for dinner, we drove to a friend's house to pass over an item to him. Since we were there, we chat awhile at the gate until we noticed dark clouds in the sky.
We hurriedly took leave and drove to the restaurant for our dinner.
Here is an old photo of Restoran Yan Ming,
50, Lorong Taman Sepuluh, Taman Pertama, Ipoh.
This photo was taken during the Chinese New Year celebration.
For just the 2 of us, we ordered the following dishes.
Steamed Tilapia with Assam Curry sauce. This dish goes well with white rice on a cool evening.
Kangkong or water spinach stir fried with spicy prawn paste or sambal belacan. Another dish which is great with white rice.
Fortunately, the rain only started when we were half way through our dinner. The heavy rain was accompanied with very strong wind. We, together with the other customers have to wait out the heavy rain at the restaurant. We waited till the rain came to a slight drizzle before we got into our car. The night was nice and cool after the heavy downpour.

The following photos are for joining Good Fences.
I took this photo when we stopped at the traffic light. It so happened our car stopped in front of this plant nursery and it was on my side.
I managed to capture this side view of the plant nursery while hubby took the turning into the side lane. A view that included the wall painting and fencing with creeper growing on it.
A dragon fly on a lemon leaf. The garden fence is between my neighbour's and our side garden.

Linking to Good Fences.

It's criminal to ignore a neighbour in need,
but compassion for the poor - what a blessing!

  12. What a lovely dinner you shared. I do love to see all the great dishes you enjoy. I would love to have some too.

That was a big rain. It sure smells good after a big rain too. Takes all the dust out of the air.

Have a fabulous day, Nancy. ☺

  15. We eat Talapia many times. It's an OK fish but I find that it doesn't have any taste.

Enjoy the day Nancy. See ya.
