Visiting Our Friends At Bukit Merah LakeTown Resort, Semanggol.

We have talked about visiting our friends in Semanggol but somehow we kept postponing the trip. Initially, we thought of making a day trip to visit our friends since it is only about an hour's drive but they insisted that we must at least stay overnight to have more time for fellowship.
We woke up to a beautiful morning and we waited for another couple to join us at our house.
We had noodles for breakfast before we started our drive to Bukit Merah Laketown Resort.
It was a beautiful day with clear blue sky. It was smooth driving all the way.
Our friends were expecting us and will be preparing home cooked lunch for us.
We will be reaching our destination soon after this uphill climb.
A short distance from the guard house, the house came into view.
If I am not mistaken, this is my 5th visit to this place.
We have arrived at our destination.
A beautiful house dedicated to a special ministry.
 Coconut trees in their compound.
Side garden.
After we have settled down and rested, lunch was served.
Here's our yummy-licious lunch for 6 people.
Soup - Lotus roots, chicken, fish balls, goji berries, red dates, etc.
 Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables.
Home made Roast Pork - prepared by the man of the house.
Stewed Duck With Ginger brought from Ipoh.
Salted Herbal Chicken Drumsticks.
Our friend's speciality - also prepared by the man of the house.
Salted Herbal Chicken Drumstick with paper wrapping removed.
Thank you, friends for a delicious meal and wonderful fellowship.

But if we are living in the light of God's presence, just as Christ does,
then we have wonderful fellowship and joy with each other,
and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from every sin.

  6. So thoughtful and caring of the hosts to prepare home cooked lunch for all of you. Since all of you stayed overnight, that means dinner is included too? Very nice house and lots of greenery around it.
