The moment I got into the car, I asked hubby where will we be going for breakfast. Hubby replied that he wanted to eat the wanton noodle at Comeson Restaurant in Ipoh town. We reached there to find it closed. So the nearest alternative place for breakfast is Restoran Tet Shin which is a few shops down the road.
A plate of Mee Jawa for me. Hubby had eaten this before but this is my first time. I like it.
Hubby's fried rice vermicelli noodle with egg, cockles & prawns. The prawns were hidden under the noodle.
I bought 4 pieces of these fried goodies (liew) from the Hakka noodle stall. Before I could get ready my camera, one piece had gone missing. Lol!
There was a heavy downpour from previous night till early morning and you can see the low clouds partially covering the mountain.
With this nice and cool weather, this is the best time to be in the garden.
I found this pretty butterfly or moth on my Blue Plumbago plant. I can never differentiate between a butterfly and a moth. So I will refer to them as butterfly.
It didn't flutter away even when I went near it. The leaves of the Blue Plumbago were wet with the early morning rain.
Linking to Saturday's Critters.
He makes mists rise throughout the earth;
he sends the lightning to bring down the rain and
sends the winds from his treasuries.
(Psalm 135:7, The Living Bible-TLB)
Ooo. Keropok in the mee jawa.we dont usually serve keropok in mee jawa. Usually satay. I like the fried mee hoon. Cockles and prawns, I even like it.

DeleteHere are some tips to help you tell the difference between a moth and a butterfly:
ReplyDelete• Butterflies have colorful wings while moths have dull colored ones.
• Knobbed antennas are for butterflies while short and feathery for moths.
• Butterflies fly during the day while moth roams around during the night.
• Butterfly keeps its wings closed when resting while a moth has its wings open.
I love rice and vermicelli, wish I could taste this dish. This butterfly (?) is so pretty, and it's coloring makes it well hidden. Wishing you the best Easter ever, Nancy!
Thank you, Ginny for the tips. So the pretty one in my post is a butterfly? Hope you have a blessed Easter and have a wonderful day!
DeleteThe butterfly is beautiful...I am wondering it was maybe too damp to fly.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rose. That could be the reason. No wonder it didn't fly away.
