Cold Chicken Feet & Paku Pakis Salad At Yoon Kee, Ipoh Stadium.

Our first visit to Yoon Kee, stall #23 at Medan Selera Stadium Ipoh was in January this year. We ordered the Paku Pakis (fiddlehead fern) salad and we enjoyed it very much. It is not easy to find places serving this appetizing salad in town. We went back there again one Saturday evening and I knew what I wanted to order.
Sweet Sour Paku Pakis Salad.
Sweet Sour Cold Chicken Feet Salad to try.
Chicken and Prawn noodle (kai si hor fun) for hubby.
I wanted to try this wanton noodle from the neighbouring stall.
With the accompanying wantons or dumplings in clear soup.
It was a satisfying and delightful dinner for 2 people on a nice cool evening.

I will satisfy him with a full life and give him my salvation.

    1. I have still to try chicken's feet. Not something we ever see here though the French do eat many things different to the rest of the European world. Have a great day Diane

    3. Hi Diane, this cold chicken feet is a Thai salad. The chicken feet is blanched and crunchy. The salad is sweet sour, very appetizing.

    1. This is my hubby's favourite. He ended up eating most of this and I ended up eating most of the paku pakis.

  4. I don't like the 'sappy' feeling on the tongue that paku leaves. Will take the chicken feet salad any time. :)

  13. Gorgeous sky!! The chicken dish looks the best to me! Do you eat the toenails of the feet, or remove them? Yes, some people here eat chicken feet, but I never have. But I saw a cooking show and it looked like they were eating the toenails.

    1. Oh no, Ginny. We don't eat the toe nails. It is claimed to have lots of collagen.
