Breakfast At Kedai Kopi Sun Yuan Loong, Ipoh.

We have targeted a place for our Golden Girls' breakfast outing and we were looking forward to taste the delicious curry noodles. On the actual morning, a friend rang up to inform that there was a road block and it will be very inconvenient for us to go for the curry noodles. We then changed our breakfast venue to Kedai Kopi Sun Yuan Loong, Medan Bendahara 2, Taman Taiping, Ipoh.

A friend took a wrong turn and found herself somewhere near the Pasir Puteh wet market and rang up for help. Knowing that this coffee shop is always packed, another friend stayed back to secure a table for us while I and a friend went to look for the one who was lost and led her back to the coffee shop. Since we were at this part of town for breakfast, hubby came to join us on his way to work. He was the only thorn among the 4 golden roses! Lol!
Since there is no stall selling curry noodles, I decided to order the Prawn noodle and requested for the lady boss to mix the prawn noodle soup with the "Law Mee" soup for me. The "Law Mee" soup is slightly thick and darker in colour. This bowl of noodle was a delicious and satisfying breakfast for me. Slurpy good!
We ordered a plate of yellow glutinous rice mixed with brown glutinous rice for all to taste. And we requested for a mixed topping consisting of Chinese sausage, roast pork, bbq pork, fried peanuts, etc.
The glutinous rice came with a bowl of pork rib and potato curry.
Most of my friends ordered steamed flat rice noodles.
My friends also ordered 5 pieces of yam cake for 5 people. 5 pieces is too much, next round must remember to order 3 pieces just for sharing.
Thank God for a lovely morning and good fellowship with my golden girlfriends. From colleagues, we have become ex-colleagues and now good friends.

  16. Hi Nancy,
    Yummy hearty breakfast spread.
It's been quite a while I've not eaten steamed yam cake. Those stall ones from the market are not so tasty and I'm lazy to make from scratch. Have a great weekend!

So nice you are able to enjoy time with these friends.
As always it amazes me that people don't eat (bacon, eggs, toast etc...) there as breakfast food. Why is that?

    1. Thank you, Ida. People do eat bacon, eggs, toast but we don't eat them all the time because there are lots of choice us.
