We woke up early and with all our things loaded into the car, we set off for breakfast. I was introduced to the Terengganu Curry Fish Noodles for breakfast for the first time before we started our drive home to Ipoh. Both of us ordered the curry noodle with steamed fish set.
Curry Noodles with tofu puff, a piece of fish cracker and curry paste. And instead of the usual beansprout, this was served with water spinach or kangkong.
This was mistakenly brought to our table.
My friend informed the server and the mistake rectified.
Interior of the shop with some breakfast customers at 8.40 am.
Blinds to keep out the morning sun.
This is the only signboard.
By 9.40 am, we were at the toll gate.
It was a gloomy morning.
Looked like it was going to rain.
There was a light shower at about 10.15 am.
There was slight drizzle on and off for the next 2 hours.
Low clouds and mountain in front of us.
My friend was driving for the first part of the journey.
And I was busy with my mobile phone camera.
Then the drizzle started again.
We were notified by Waze app that there was a traffic congestion ahead of us. We were directed through some small town before being taken back to the highway again.
We passed by this accident and thank God for these kind hearted motorists who stopped to help the accident victim out from his car.
Save some by snatching them as from the very flames of hell itself.
And as for others, help them to find the Lord by being kind to them,
but be careful that you yourselves aren't pulled along into their sins.
Hate every trace of their sin while being merciful to them as sinners.
(Jude 1:23, The Living Bible-TLB)
Oh no, accident, hope all are well and safe and nobody is injured
ReplyDeleteI like the road scenery you took on the road
I think the driver was hurt. Managed to catch a glimpse of some bleeding on his head as he was helped out of the car.
DeleteI always have appetite for curry!
ReplyDeleteMe too, Angie!
DeleteYou took us on a wonderful trip, such a shame about the accident. Hope all is well.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mamas! I too hope the driver is not seriously hurt.
DeletePratos deliciosos.

DeleteHope the victim is all right...
ReplyDeleteI hope so too!
Delete...I'd love a light shower, any kind of shower!
ReplyDeleteHope you will get your showers!
DeleteHope all were safe in the accident. Love your shots of the mountains in the distance. Not sure I could eat all that for breakfast, too much for me! Take care Diane
ReplyDeleteThank you, Diane! That was breakfast plus lunch for my friend and I.
DeleteRaining day and slippery road. Better drive carefully and slowly on such condition.
ReplyDeleteCurry noodle looked good. I don't mind having one but breakfast is too hearty for me. Hahaha
That curry noodle was our 2-in-1 (breakfast & lunch).
DeleteBuena tarde. Un beso.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Teresa!
DeleteLovely breakfast to start ones day. You needed all that food for that long drive.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Nancy. ♥
We had enough food to last us till dinner.
DeleteThe low clouds on the landscape really do make things quite dramatic.
ReplyDeleteThere were low clouds on that gloomy day for most of the journey.
DeleteThat looks like a bad accident! Of course with the rain, the roads were slippery. I love the mountains with the low lying clouds!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny!
DeleteBeing a Canadian, I'm not sure that I would enjoy Terengganu Curry Fish Noodles for breakfast. Maybe some toast with eggs and bacon would be enjoyable. See ya Nancy.
ReplyDeleteCruisin Paul
We have been taking toast with half boiled eggs, toast with butter and jam for the past few days.
DeleteThanks for the interesting post! Have a nice weekend)
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear!
DeleteAccidents are awful for everyone involved, and always so inconvenient. Glad you got home safely in spite of the rain.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mimi! Thank God for journey mercy.
DeleteOh dear, please stay safe on the roads.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Monica! Thank God for journey mercy!
DeleteI like open window restaurants whether it has glasses or not. The weather seem to keep the journey cool and I enjoyed the foggy mountains view
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jeevan. The view throughout our journey was beautiful.
DeleteInteresting to have prawn/fish crackers served in the bowl. That must be the Trengganu part of it.
ReplyDeleteSomething different from the usual curry noodles.
DeleteHi, may I ask where is this restaurant? Thank you.
