This was last Tuesday. We came back from our morning walk without stopping for breakfast because we has breakfast appointment with a friend and her son. This young man is interested to try out all the well known food in Ipoh and wanted us to show and accompany them for breakfast. After sweeping the porch area and watering of my plants, we got ready and waited for them to pick us from our house.
This time, we took them to Restoran Yummy Food Garden in Falim. We ordered the following for breakfast.
Hokkien mee or Prawn Noodle (we ordered 2 bowls).
(Rice vemicelli plus yellow noodle with pork slices, prawns, hard boiled egg (half), beansprouts, fried shallots, water spinach in prawn broth)
Kai Si Hor Fun or Chicken strips noodle
(Initially, I want to assam laksa but was told that it is only available on Friday and Saturday. So I ended up ordering this kai si hor fun (flat rice noodle) with chicken strips, prawns, chives, shallots crisps in chicken broth)
Char koay teow or fried flat rice noodle
Our friend and her son enjoyed the food and few days later, they returned to this place for breakfast with other members of their family.
Sunrise at 8:09am
While waiting for our friend, I took some sunrise shots.
8:10am
Morning sky at 8:09am (opposite, facing the sunrise).
Driving out to town at 8:18am
With plentiful rainfall, the Wishbone plants are sprouting from the ground in my garden.
Pink Wishbone blooms.
Violet Wishbone blooms.
These are short and they make good border or front edging plants.
My little children, I am telling you this so that
you will stay away from sin. But if you sin,
there is someone to plead for you before the Father.
His name is Jesus Christ, the one who is all that is good
and who pleases God completely.
