Dinner At Restoran Makanan Laut Piew, Falim, Ipoh

It was Good Friday. We chose Restoran Makanan Laut Piew, a place conveniently on the way for us to go to church after dinner.

Tofu with fresh mushrooms, snap peas and carrot.
Water spinach (kangkong) with shrimp paste (belacan) in clay pot.
Eggplant with fish paste.
Deep fried black pomfret fish with salted vegetable and tofu.
Cockscomb flowers from my front garden.
These are baby plants.
Took these night sky shots after returning from dinner.
Moon shot with the Bauhinia Kockiana blooms at 8:45pm.

Praise him who made the heavenly lights,
for his loving-kindness continues forever;
the sun to rule the day,
for his loving-kindness continues forever;
and the moon and stars at night,
for his loving-kindness continues forever.
(Psalm 136:7-9, The Living Bible-TLB)

  5. I love all the dishes. So far I have not had eggplant with fish paste. Usually it is with minced pork.

  13. Love all the dishes, especially the tofu dish and the fish dish with tofu and also the brinjals. I like these flowers but normally I see them grow into a ball shape. Will they grow into a ball shape later?

    1. The cockscomb flowers will not grow into round ball shape but we used to pass by a house with the round ball shape which is very cute and pretty.
