Radish Pork Leg Hakka Noodle & Ready Cooked Dinner

This was a few days before MCO 3.0, nationwide lockdown was enforced upon us. After our morning walk, we stopped at Restoran Kee Tuck Seak for breakfast. After going through the check-in SOP procedure, we chose a small table outside the restaurant. At that early hour (about 7am), there were only a handful of customers sitting inside.

Hubby ordered the Hakka noodle with radish pork leg.
Hubby and I shared this breakfast set (RM5.80 only).

The boss is very generous with the radish pork leg serving.

Back in my garden.
My daikon (radish) plants have variegated leaves!
Oh no! Some pests were feeding on the leaves.
I quickly cut off all the affected leaves to protect the other leaves.

I was in lazy mode, so there was no home cooking.
We had dine-in at WK Claypot House.
Coincidentally, we ordered radish pork after having radish pork leg for breakfast.
Sweet sour mustard green.
Fried Threadfin (ma yau) fish.
We ordered 2 small portion white rice to eat with the above dishes.
Saw this pretty butterfly resting on the Water Jasmine leaf as I was watering the plants. If it hadn't fluttered, I wouldn't have noticed it.

  5. The butterfly camouflage so we'll amongst the leaves. What a coincidence to have radish pork for two meals in the same day. Which do u like better - radish pork leg or radish pork?

  14. So nice that you even have daikon growing in your garden! I love soup with daikon and of course, it is also an ingredient I use when making kimchi. I am salivating looking at your dine-out meals. Can't wait for MCO 3.0 to be over as I miss eating out!

  17. Once again Nancy,your breakfast is interesting. My wife asked me if there are any heavy people in your area. She told me that the people eat properly and they are very thin not like me, heavy. LOL Have a great Sunday my friend

    1. Over here it is a mixture of slim, not so slim and heavy people. People these days are more health conscious and most are trying to cut down on carbohydrate. Have a great week.
