Indian Style Fried Beehoon, Assam Laksa & Stewed Chicken Feet

The morning was nice and cool because there was a heavy downpour the night before.

Mist on Kledang Hill at 8:10am.
Our favourite fried beehoon with sambal chicken drumstick (Indian style).
White bougainvillea with variegated leaves in front of my house.
Hubby had dentist appointment and we stopped to buy lunch on the way home. The stall was waiting to close and we bought the last bowl of assam laksa, the remaining stuffed ingredients and hubby ordered noodle with soy sauce. The lady boss gave us all the laksa noodle and remaining gravy.
Evening sky at 6:40pm.
Sunset on the reverse side at 6:45am.
For dinner, I cooked just 1 dish - stewed chicken feet with Shittake mushrooms and napa cabbage.
1 dish dinner with steamed rice.
Sorry to those who don't eat chicken feet.
Traditional Bamboo Baby Chair.
It can be used as a stool (left) and a baby chair when placed on the side (right).

For you are still only baby Christians,
controlled by your own desires, not God's.
When you are jealous of one another and
divide up into quarreling groups,
doesn't that prove you are still babies,
wanting your own way?
In fact, you are acting like people
who don't belong to the Lord at all.
(1 Corinthians 3:3, The Living Bible-TLB)

  4. I love to eat chicken feet when young. Recently I just ate chicken feet but only the top part, not the claw part. I like to eat the napa cabbages in your dish. The chicken feet u cooked, were they deep fried before hand or cooked from raw?

    3. If pre-fried, the skin of the chicken feet will be rough.

  10. It's my favorite kind of breakfast, and I love your cloudy, rainy, and misty weather. People here call chicken feets poor man's chicken because mostly those who can't afford to buy chicken used to buy those feets for free.

    1. Thank you, Jeevan. These days, chicken feet are no longer free nor cheap. Stewed chicken feet is no longer a poor man's dish.
