Dinner At Seafood Recipe & A Walk By the River

Time really flies. Once again it was Friday and this time there were 5 of us going out for dinner. It was a very warm evening and we chose an air-con restaurant to eat in comfort. We left the ordering of dishes to the mother and son.
First dish - deep fried silky tofu with crispy toppings and soy sauce.
2nd - stir fried kai lan vegetable with garlic.
The kai lan was a bit hard for our weak gum.
Deep fried baby cuttlefish or "sotong" coated with thick sweet sour sauce. It was very crunchy and nice when it was first brought to the table but after a while, it was no longer crunchy and needed more chewing. The younger man enjoyed this dish very much and we lose to him because of his stronger teeth. Lol!
Fish head curry with assorted vegetables.
We made an unplanned visit to the Sungai Kinta or the Kinta Riverside to enjoy the night lights.
This is our first visit to check out the place.
The big trees were lighted up with light bulbs wound around their trunks.
There are railings and stairs leading down to the river side.
There were a few others besides us enjoying the place.
We met 2 families with their young children.
A place to gather or to hold an event.
Flowing water of the Sungai Kinta or Kinta River.
For the folks staying around this area, this would be a great place to enjoy their morning or evening walk or a place to have their exercise.
Recycle bins
A big butterfly made from recycled plastic bottle.
Nice and clean and hope the public will appreciate this place.
We didn't go far as it was getting dark and lonely.
I would love to revisit this place again one fine morning when the weather is nice and cool.
We have seen people walking or jogging along the river side when we drove past in the morning.

On the last day, the climax of the holidays, Jesus shouted to the crowds,
"If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.
For the Scriptures declare that rivers of living water shall flow
from the inmost being of anyone who believes in me."
John 7:37-38, The Living Bible-TLB)
