Early Breakfast At Kedai Makanan Dan Minuman Sauk, Menglembu

We have passed by this way a few times and we noticed that there was always a crowd of people taking their breakfast at this coffee shop. We were curious and we wanted to find out what draws the crowd to this place. This morning, we went to find out for ourselves.

Parking and getting a table inside the coffee shop was not a problem. We looked around to see which stall had the most orders before we ordered our food. It was the front noodle stall that was very busy preparing the noodles and serving the customers.

We went to pick our ingredients and at the same time gave our orders to the person preparing the food. Service was fast and very soon our food was on the talbe.
A plate of flat rice noodle, dry stirred with dark soy sauce with the ingredients. This was non-spicy.
A plate of flat rice noodle, dry stirred with dark soy sauce with one ingredient. This was spicy with curry paste added.
A bowl of ingredients in plain soup.

A bowl of rice vermicelli in plain soup with the ingredients.

A bowl of additional ingredients and a saucer of curry paste.

2 saucers of curry paste, requested by those who wanted a more spicy breakfast.

This was my morning non-sweetened coffee with evaporated milk.

Our breakfast noodle came from this stall, facing the front.

Morning crowd waiting for their breakfast to be served.

We wait in hope for the LORD; He is our help and our shield.
In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name.
May Your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD,
even as we put our hope in you.

  7. OH, coffee with evaporated milk! Is it better tasting? My mom used to do this, so thanks for the memory, and now I will try it. Food is always good when you choose a place that is very crowded.
